Carly Simon hits the top 10 charts again with the single Jesse. This album of original songs has a strong rock flavor; unlike the pop ballads that her fans were used to.
To promote Come Upstairs, Carly appeared on the TV show Omnibus, where three painters (including Andy Warhol) took on the task of capturing Carly's image.
Filmed in 1995 at Grand Cental Station Info
My special thanks to the staff at the Power Station, to Bob Ludwig, to Sid McGinnis for his arranging ideas and to Jacques Brel for inspiration.
